Straight Up School Year Kickoff Trip
August 30, 12:00 pm - September 2 - 6:00 pm | William Heise Campground, San Diego County
Can you believe school is already here? Join us on our four day escape to the amazing San Diego County, where you will be filled with exciting activities and God’s beautiful creation. We will be tent camping at William Heise Campground, which is a quick drive away from Julian. Boys and Girls will be separated on different sides of the campground.
We have a lot of activities in store for this trip! We will have a day exploring Julian where there is axe throwing, rock-climbing, mazes, fruit picking, and yummy pies! Not only this, but we will be boating on Lake Cuyamaca and exploring the old mines of Julian (led by a tour guide). And on our last day, we are going to WAVE Waterpark! WAVE waterpark is known for their wave generator where you can surf on perfect waves. We recommend each student brings $20-$40 of spending money for the various gift shops, thrift stores, and In and Out!
This trip will take place over Labor Day Weekend, we do require each student to be called out of school by 12:15pm on August 30th to beat the Friday traffic! We will return on Monday, September 2nd around 6:00pm!
