Simon’s Net: Fishing Trip

It’s that time again! Simon’s Net Fishing Ministry takes the water on Saturday, July 6th for another fishing adventure, aboard “Sum Fun” fishing boat!  

Simon’s Net Fishing Ministry is for everyone and provides our church family with another unique way to have a relationship with Christ, through the sport of fishing. In addition to our church family, we target disadvantaged youth in Orange County. We pray that each man, woman and child will encounter God’s love and joy during this “hands-on” fishing experience.

What to expect:

• Checkin at 6:00am, charter departs at 6:30am
• Pick up your parking pass at the sport-fishing office, right next to the boat.
• Open ocean bible teaching
• Trophies awarded for the biggest fish caught by a child under 16 years old.
• Via donations, fishing gear and bait is supplied (you are welcome to bring your own)
• Lunch on the water (Bring your own or purchase on board, cash only)
• Return to dock by 11:30am

What to bring:

• July 6th is a FREE FISHING DAY so a fishing license is NOT REQUIRED!
• Cash if you plan on purchasing food, drinks, or any other services while on board, including gratuity for the “Sum Fun” crew.
• Non slip shoes i.e. sneakers
• Dress in layers as it gets cold on the ocean
• Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat

PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME AND CHECK IN WITH US AT THE DOCKS.
