A Night in Bethlehem

Shalom! A Night in Bethlehem is a FREE unique Christmas event for children ages 5 to 5th grade! The children will be transported back through time to the city of Bethlehem as its residents celebrate the birth of Jesus. The citizens of Bethlehem just can’t stop talking about Jesus and his incredible birth. The children will be amazed at all the authentic, multi-sensory activities they’ll find. The children will be greeted with warm smiles, and find Jesus’ love here! They will experience The Village Photographer who will take their picture as they enter, the marketplace, where they will go to the Bethlehem Bakery and taste delicious bread, they will enjoy the metal shop where they can create a one-of-a-kind nameplate. They will also experience the Carpentry Shop where everyone gets a chance to work with wood – just like Joseph the Carpenter, The Scribe’s Tent where they’ll try their hands at writing Jesus’ name using a stylus and ink. The Pottery Shed where they’ll mold and shape their own pots, the Painters Hut where they will paint a keepsake ornament for years as a reminder of this special journey through Bethlehem… and FINALLY, they will see the Stable where they will hear from Mary and Joseph about the events surrounding Jesus’ birth.
