Joy is at the center of our development. Neurologists say joy is a major part of our development as humans. Even as babies we form our most secure bonds around the feeling of joy. We are wired for joy, therefore we desire joy. But joy is more than a fleeting feeling. Joy is a decision but we often chose to find joy in all the wrong things. We chose to find joy in the temporal, mad made self gratifying things that always leave us sad. But true joy is a person and His name is Jesus.
