Matt Testimony – Part 11
(Part 11/11 )
“Right now the thing that brings me the most happiness is any type of adventure with my family. When we get to try something new together. To see how my kids think of things. My daughter gets anxious about it, so she starts asking me all these random questions. It’s mostly self-talking of ‘She’s going to be okay; she’s going to be okay.’ And my son is quiet but then asks very pointed questions like ‘So is the motor going to get us where we need to go or is it not going to get us where we need to go?’ Watching them all of the sudden light-up. We are going to do something that we haven’t done before. We don’t know what it’s going to be. We are going to do it together; we’re going to learn together. That’s the best thing. Whether it’s a new rollercoaster they’ve never ridden before or traveling somewhere. Having a new experience shared with my family brings happiness over anything, any day. Whether trying a new food or anything, seeing them light-up beats anything.
We’re planning the next adventure right now, for whenever adventures are allowed again. It involves an airplane, a lot of flying miles, and somewhere far away.”
