Wouldn't it just be easier to say we are all "leaders"? Well, I guess but I am convinced we are more than leaders. In John 10 we get a key insight to how Jesus functions as the Good Shepherd and calls those who love Him to "feed his sheep."

First, we strive to be like Jesus, the Good Shepherd, by guiding God's people back to divine Grace.

Second, we are invested. While it would be easier to keep our conversations shallow and life hidden, we go deep and open up to each other. We desire students to know the Good Shepherd.

Finally, we protect because we know and are invested in God's people. The Good Shepered comes to give life and life abundantly, while the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy; we protect by showing that "life abundantly" is accessible in Jesus through the Gospel of Grace.
