Simon's Net Fishing Ministry

Simon’s Net is for everyone and provides our church family with another unique way to have a relationship with Christ, through the sport of fishing.

Our trips are dedicated to all of God's children, but fisher-people 16 years and over must purchase a California Sport fishing license (one day or a year). As on all of our trips for children under 16 years old there are prizes for Bible Trivia and catching the largest legal-sized fish. CBC will provide free loaner fishing rods, reels and tackle to all children and there may be some extra for adults.

All the 2013 fishing trips are on the Clemente, which leaves out of Dana Wharf Sport Fishing in Dana Point Harbor, 34675 Golden Lantern, Dana Point (949) 496-5794. Boats leave on time, so please arrive at least 30 minutes early to check in with us near where the Clemente docks. Please park in designated parking lot. Prior to each trip you can sign up in the hallway near the bookstore, look for our Simon's Net Logo, or you can reserve a spot by calling, or emailing us. PAYMENT is needed to confirm a reservation(s), please make checks payable to: Capo Beach Church and in the memo put Simon’s Net.

We will continually sponsor children with physical challenges, underprivileged, and single-parented homes. If it's in your heart to sponsor one of these children, please consider a donation of $25 or more. Thank you for your continued prayers, support and donations to Simon's Net Ministry.

2013 Fishing Schedule:

All fishing trips are $25 per person

June 8 - ½ day trip 12:00PM – 5PAM

July 6 - Twilight trip 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM (no CA fishing license is required on this day)

September 7 - ½ day trip 12:00PM – 5PM (no CA fishing license is required on this day)
