Here in the student ministry we believe that "True Religion" has nothing to
do with a pair of jeans but it has everything to do with trusting in the
finished work of Christ on the cross! When we come to grasp what Jesus
has done for us it moves us from have to's to want to's! This generation
understands the endlessness of God's grace and power that His truth provides us
to help those less fortunate than us!
All of the amazing volunteers (known as the RDV's - Red Door Volunteers) and
I want you to know how committed we are to break away from the dysfunctional
way most high school campus work; popularity contests, cool and not cool,
hot and not, using and being used all to advance oneself up the popularity
ladder! The name Red Door is a reminder to us on the inside that
we're committed to the value and uniqueness of every individual. Exodus
12:22-23 declared that those inside the "red door" were kept safe from the
"destroyer" and given an opportunity to leave behind slavery and begin a new
adventure!!!
How that new adventure looks is decided by each follower and the choices
they make. Here at the Red Door we're committed to giving you the tools
you need to go way beyond a "YOUTH GROUP" program which is designed to
entertain you. Why not check out the difference.
Meetings
Every Wednesday night The Red Door meets from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the
CBC Youth Facility.
Every Sunday, students gather in the Old Green house at 10am for an informal
discussion on topics that reveal the real Jesus.
Every Week Red Door offers 6 different small groups, 3 for guys and 2 for
girls to deepen our friendships and faith!
