OUTDOOR SERVICE FILMING AND FOOD DONATION DRIVE
Saturday, May 23, 2020, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Worship with us Saturday Night AT CBC!
We have also heard from so many of you of wanting to gather at the church again to worship and see others face to face, so here is our solution to make that happen this Saturday night!
This upcoming Saturday, May 23, we want to give you an opportunity to come experience the "behind-the-scenes" of what filming our services look like while getting to worship with the rest of your CBC family safely in our parking lot. We will be setting up and recording our weekend service right here in the back parking lot of our building as well as continuing our food donations in partnership with FAM!
Please note that this is an outdoor taping of our weekend church service and that the main objective is to film our service. What we film Saturday night will be shown at 10am Sunday morning. Those in attendance are encouraged to participate in worship from a safe distance. This is NOT a drive in service and those in attendance will need to bring there own beach / lawn chair to sit on, you will be sitting on cement so blankets are not suggested to sit on. Our goal is that you may be able to experience what it looks like to record our weekly services, and worship with others and get to hear the message in person, while also continuing to tune in online for the weekend service on Sunday morning.
If you choose to attend please watch the video above and read carefully the following guidelines we have in place for everyone's health and safety:
Everyone in attendance is required to follow the state mandated social distancing guidelines of remaining a minimum 6 feet away from those not in their household at all times - please practice this from the moment you park until you leave. Refrain from hugs and handshakes. A simple waves to those around you is the best option to greet others!
Everyone in attendance is asked to bring a mask with them. We strongly encourage wearing one at all times.
Everyone in attendance is encouraged to bring an item of food to donate to our continued food drive in partnership with FAM. A list of items needed can be found here.
There will be no public bathrooms or access to the inside of the building. Please plan accordingly.
Hand sanitizer stations will be at the entrance and everyone will be encouraged to use them as they enter and exit the filming area.
Please do not attend if you or someone in your household has exhibited any cold or flu like symptoms in the last 14 days.
We will only allow as many people in that can safely social distance in the space we have. We are filming in the back parking lot which is very large so we don't anticipate reaching capacity but should that happen our security team will stop allowing people in. You are encouraged to arrive at 5:30pm when the gates open to ensure you find a spot. Don't forget to bring a chair to sit on!
Again, I want to emphasize to only attend if you are comfortable with it and can adhere to the guidelines above -- attending this taping is not to replace our online services on Sunday mornings. CBC still continue offering online services, and we encourage you to attend church online on Sunday mornings even if you choose to join us in-person Saturday night. Your good efforts and work to make this a safe experience for all will ensure we can do this again soon and begin moving into in-person services again very soon! Let's worship together Saturday safely and be a good example to our community of how church gatherings can take place in a safe manner.
Location: Capo Beach Church
Gates Open: 5:30pm
Filming Begins: 6:15pm (estimated) and will take just over an hour.
We are so excited to see you all in person and share this experience with you!
